I am now back training fully on and off the water, progressively building on the capacity and intensity of each session.

Recently I ventured back down to London and hopped back on the olympic course!!!! I had two great sessions without much of a reaction from the muscles involving the stress fracture, which is great news!

It'll be decided a week before selection if I race or not, so i'm putting a lot of work into stretching and my rehab routine to get my range of movement and strength up. I will keep you posted :)

I recently raced the British University Canoe Slalom Championships. My first full run in 6 months!!!! Last year I won but this year I had to settle for 4th, which is not a bad start to getting back on it :) so I feel it was a successful weekend. My rib and body didn't react or restrict me from training in the days that followed: my physio was delighted at this news.

Here's to the future!
